In every room of La Fattoria, the renovation brought to light the original vaulted ceilings with Impruneta terracotta tiles, a precious testament to the craftsmanship from the Ghirlandaio family’s kiln. These tiles were used in the construction of many Florentine buildings, including the Dome of the Florentine Cathedral, which was covered in terracotta tiles handcrafted in this region.
